The Funaro is a space dedicated to the theater, to the performing arts, to formation, to research, to theatrical creation.

For Pinocchio’s Tuscany the Funaro proposes:

For four hands – From the tale to the object is a course of manual creativity dedicated to children between the ages of 4 to 8, accompanied by their parents.
The cycle of encounters proposes for the first time a path that joins parents and children through their manual endeavors. Each encounter will concentrate on the construction of an object inspired by the story of Pinocchio. A workshop dedicated to young and old who, in passing rediscover our tradition, and now have the desire to pull up their sleeves and let their fantasy travel.

Little set designers – The Land of Toys is a course of manual creativity dedicated to children from the ages of 6 to 10 years.

During these workshops we will construct objects for the stage, marionettes, costumes, hats, masks or strange gadgets and mechanisms, in brief a work area in which the children will have the possibility to construct all that they will need during the lessons of theater, in order to bring on to the scene a new creative stimulus. The workshop is open also to children who are not registered in the theater course but who want to try their hand in constructing whatever object their fantasy suggests.
